The idea for this miter shooting board came from some images posted by luthier Mark Roberts on Facebook showing many of the jigs and fixtures he uses to make work easier. This board is designed to hold the sides of a guitar or other similar instrument steady so that the edges can be trimmed easily and cleanly. I've created a set of schematics for building my own and you can download a PDF version.
